At CompMed 2009 Fujikura Europe Ltd will be exhibiting a range of optical fibre and CMOS camera based assemblies designed for use by medical device manufacturers.

Products will include Fujikura’s market leading high quality ultra thin fused silica based coherent image fibre bundles and a number of coherent plastic image fibre bundles. It will also be possible to see live images through fibrescope examples made from both fibre types.

Utilising from an extensive array of manufacturing capabilities Fujikura now also offers a range of miniature CMOS sensor assemblies primarily designed for use in endoscopes with 3mm diameter or less. It will be possible to see high quality images on an ‘Organic EL’ monitor through example CMOS scopes.

Also available will be a range of large core fibres and assemblies applicable for use by medical laser equipment manufacturers.
For UV curing applications Fujikura will be showing their latest offering in UV-LED super cool light sources.
