Fujikura Europe Ltd will be exhibiting at CompaMed 2011, International Trade Fair for medical technology high-tech solutions in Dusseldorf, Germany from 16th – 18th November.

This year Fujikura announces its newest CMOS-based flexible module with a diameter of 1.2mm. The module combines a 28.9K pixel CMOS imaging sensor with Fujikura's market leading flexible printed circuits (FPC's) and microcoaxial cables to provide a flexible, small diameter solution. This is a key enabler for disposable flexible endoscope applications and potentially replaces leached image bundles in miniature flexible endoscopes. Fujikura also offers a higher resolution CMOS-based videoscope capability for OEM's with 160K pixels in 2.8mm diameter package. Fujikura can also provide videoscopes with illumination based on such CMOS modules.
