Construction
Conductor : Positive polarity : Chromel, solid; Negative polarity : Alumel, solid
Insulation : Flame retardant XLPE compound.
Twinning : Two insulated conductors shall be twisted together to form a pair ( 10 to 14 twist per meter )
Individual screen : Laminated aluminium polyester tape (helically wrapped with 25% overlap ) with tinned
copper drain wire of 0.5mm² (20/0.18mm)
Filler : Non-hygroscopic filler applied at the manufacturer's discretion
Drain wire : 0.5mm²(20/0.18mm) tinned annealed copper wire laid under the laminated aluminium.
Bedding : AL/HDPE/PA composed of laminated aluminium (nom. aluminium thickness 0.20mm),
Black HDPE and polyamide layer.
Armour : Galvanised steel wire with binding tape.
Outer sheath : Yellow coloured PVC(105°C-grade) compound having flame retadant properties complying to
IEC 60332-3 Cat. A, with oxygen index > 30 to ASTM D2863 : 91 and impregnated with
anti-vermin additive. |
