Construction
Conductor : Plain annealed copper, stranded, class 2 as per BS 6360.
Insulation : Flame retardant XLPE compound.
Twinning : Two insulated cores shall be twisted to form a pair. ( 10 to 14 twist per meter )
Filler : Non-hygroscopic filler applied at the manufacturer's discretion
Drain wire : 0.5mm²(20/0.18mm) tinned annealed copper wire laid under the laminated aluminium.
Bedding : AL/HDPE/PA composed of laminated aluminium (nom. aluminium thickness 0.20mm),
Black HDPE and olyamide layer.
Armour : Galvanised steel wire with binding tape.
Outer sheath : Black(non IS) or Blue(IS) coloured PVC compound having flame retadant properties
complying to IEC 60332-3 Cat. A, with oxygen index > 30 to ASTM D2863 : 91 and
impregnated with anti-vermin additive. |
